Bodrum Nightlife
During the last few years, Bodrum has been busying itself on weaving, boat building, fishing, agriculture, and tourism, eventually becoming Bodrum's most important industries. However, this place is fast evolving from a usual port town into a popular tourist spot. The heart of the town where you can literally find jostling bars, shops, restaurants and artifacts, will surely give you a great and fascinating time touring around.
If you think that you have already seen everything by touring all day, then you are absolutely wrong. Wait till the sun goes down to experience its nightlife! Did you know that the Turks consider Bodrum as the premiere nightlife capital of Turkey, coming in first place to Istanbul?
Near the tourism office is a castle where you can find many cafes. Underneath its impressive walls you will immediately find Iskele Meydni. If you are into live music, you can go ahead and visit Veli Bar, one of the oldest bars in town. If you are into shopping textiles, there is no problem. You can go to Yettigari and Hadigri bar and restaurant situated among the boutiques of good quality textiles. Looking for a high quality standard sound system and decoration? Try M&M dancing. It is just adjacent to the Pide place where a bunch of shops sells the Pide, Turkish pizza and so much more, for a quick stomach fix.
Were not even done yet! Situated by the beach is the Fora Bar. It is considered one of the nicest discos in town, so strategically located that it lets you see breath taking views of the castle and the sea. If you want to watch belly dancing, then it is highly advisable that you go to Fasil cafe Rasit, The Whitehouse Bar, Sultans Beach House, Mavi Bar, as well as the Halikanass disco, and enjoy. They are just a few meters from each other, so you can go bar hopping in Bodrum.
